The meeting took place on the 28th March at 11.00 am in the UNGE BATA main hall.
Senior UNGE BATA members of staff all attended, including the Vice-rector, together with GITGE Continental Regional Directors Board, presided by the GITGE General Director Óscar Ondo Ngomo Nchama.
The event began with a welcome speech by the institution’s Vice-rector who took the opportunity to invite students to participate. A screening of the GITGE educational video (which focuses on responsible use of the internet), was followed by a video account of the TEG Campus 2018 and appearances by some of the winners from the previous edition who recounted their experiences. The Director General of GITGE, then took the floor to present the TEG Campus and inform the audience on how to participate this year. The students were then given the chance to ask questions, which were answered by the Director General.
After the event, both management teams, together with the students who had attended, were all invited to refreshments provided by GITGE.
